What you need on Xbox today

The product page sells a native Xbox Series X|S version. It does not list Xbox One support, and the EA guide names Xbox Series X|S alongside PS5 and PC. Because the game is single-player, Game Pass Core is not needed for multiplayer access. Store licensing and downloads still require the normal Xbox account and network setup.

EA Play is a separate question

Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play, but that does not make every new EA release part of the subscription catalog. Check the exact product page for an "Included with" label before relying on either service. A discount, trial, or Deluxe upgrade offer is not the same as full-game access.

How to verify a later catalog change

Open the Xbox store while signed into the account that owns the subscription. The purchase button should be replaced or supplemented by an install option tied to the active plan. Confirm the edition, platform, and any end date before starting a large download.
